sibling rivalry?

A few weeks ago, I told my friends that it is speculated that a famous TV presenter and a not-so-famous singer are sisters. My friends don't believe me...
Anyway, one of my friends managed to have a 'close encounter' with one of them.

My friend: Veron, i have confirmed already. that XXX and YYY are not sisters.
Me: cannot be lah
My friend: When I say I have sister, XXX replies she only has a brother.
Me: Maybe they have sibling rivalry. Maybe they already 'disown' each other... .

What is sibling rivalry?

Sibling rivalry occus when there is fighting, jealous, competition, hurting etc among siblings.


Bernard, being the only child, once told me that it's good to have a brother/sister to play with.
So when I was pregnant with meranda, he is very delighted, as LeLe will have a 'playmate'.


I never believe in such thing. Come on lah, how many of us actually101% love and feel loved by our siblings?It's not like everyday we like to 'play' with them.


I envy people who are close to their siblings. People who call their brothers/sisters regularly to ask what's their latest updates, who care when they are facing difficut moments or experiencing different phases in life , who will show concern when disaster(e.g. earthquake) happens.


Sibling rivalry? I don't have it. Sibling closeness? sad to say, i don't have it too..

my new biz ..

I'm back..back to blogging..for the past few weeks,I have been very busy. super busy.

Busy with my online business selling children clothings.
My 7 days spree at the forum is over. So far business has been not bad, better than what I expected.
Doing own biz is never easy. I spent hours doing research,talking to suppliers, doing marketing collaterals etc..till wee hours. but it is very satisfactory,
and I ENJOY the madness!
I love online shopping, I love kids, I love fashion..
So this seems the 'perfect ' thing for me to do!

Friends have gave compliments that I have good taste *blush blush*, though some of them may be too 'funky','wierd'..hahaha...well, i love sourcing for interesting pieces for the kids back home.

Party Time!

LeLe is turning 3 on 9th Dec, so yesterday we hold a birthday cum housewarming party.Invited some close friends and of cos, LeLe's playmates from Gemdale.
It's a fun day for the kids...(and the adults)






It's Cake Time! We sang Happy Birthday to LeLe, then turn to good old 'Aunty Chenyi' to help cut the cake. She has been cutting lele's cake for past 3 years! heehee..So, anymore kids' birthday coming up? Will recommend her. She is good at it.. 'p

my poor baby

Baby is sick nowadays. She is diagnosed to have croup. It is very worrying, as it may turn to tracheitis, if not cured properly. Poor baby, she is so small. Anyway, she went to hospital for treatment yesterday. She is better today, and I play with her the the whole day... I hope nothing will happen to my little baby

same hairstyle

LeLe becomes very vain nowadays. Every morning, he will want Ayi to style his hairstyle and refuse to wear the winter cap, as it will 'spoil' the hair. I think he gets his 'hiaoness' from his daddy...

Daddy flying with Baby ...ALONE!

It has been 1week+ since i'm out of the corporate world. Friends have been pouring their comfort to me, whether they are from SGP or BJ..Thank you, my dear friends!I'm doing fine now. I try to take it positively and realise that things are not as bad as it is.

Daily schedule seems to be 'very occupied' with lots of domestic things to attend to. Buying furniture/unpacking for new house, settle resident permit, exploring new business venture with my sis-in-law, preparing LeLe's 3YO birthday party and booking airticket for CNY trip.

As Bernard is reaching his 5th year in China, he has to be away for at 1 month, so as to avoid the tax.Thus, Qoo family is going back SGP for 1 month! Yippie!

Hubby booked SQ airticket for LeLe and me though miles. Then he realised, that he does not have enough miles for his own ticket which costs more than RMB8000! Thus he decided to fly Air China with Meranda alone, which costs a fraction of SQ. Hmmm...it's going to be a real adventure for Bernard. Wonder how he is going to pacify her if she cries? At least, mummy has breasts, haha ;>

Our schedule is confirmed to be 17th Jan-18th Feb. So, my retrenchment seems to be a 'blessing in disguise', at least for the doting grandparents who miss their grandchildren so much.. C ya back home!
