Waiting Waiting Waiting..

I got a verbal job offer..it is a Senior Manager role, in the same industry.

I know it sounds ironic, but I have not sign the contract, news already spread that I’m joining the company. My name is in the org chart and my industry friend started to congratulate me about it. Yet, I have been waiting for more than one week for the contract to be out. Nothing is confirmed until signed right? ;0

For the past few months, I enjoyed being a ‘half-tai tai’ cum Ms Entrepreneur and I love playing with Baby Meranda every morning. But I feel bad that Bernard is the sole bread-winner for the family. Although my business is giving me financial rewards, but definitely not as much as compared to what I earn while working.

We can survive on single income, but who knows what will happen in such economy? Especially we are so-called expatriates in foreign countries with good allowances. With companies cutting cost globally, job security is not 101% guaranteed.

Anyway, I do missing the corporate world. I miss dressing up in my power suits, (my wardrobe if FULL of corporate suits, shirts, pants) , being a corporate bitch, walking in power heels, and talking to corporate clients with confidence.

Hopefully there will be goods news soon...
